Business Advice:

For years, my clients paid me as a business consultant for the kind of advice that I provide on this site for free.  Now I focus on the mortgage business, but I'd like to use the experience and the gray hair I've earned to help you apply these principles to your business.  I've attempted to keep the language as non-technical as possible, so that this site might be able to help as many people as possible.  I'd like to improve this site but I need your comments to grow.

May have said: "Everything's changed since September 11th."  Or: "We're in a New Millennium; All the rules have changed."  Actually, the facts tell us that only the variables and the assumptions have changed.  None of the fundamental principles of business have changed in the last 200 years.

If you try to build a tall building on a weak foundation, it will fall.  If you try to build a strong business on a weak foundation, it will fail.  As product-life cycles have gone from four years to four days, fundamental principles are even more important.  Do you want to build your business on strong fundamentals?
