Bankruptcy Clean-Up Information We don't consider
bankruptcy to be the problem. We consider bankruptcy as a possible
solution.
We live in a country
that believes in second chances. Bad things happen to good people.
Bankruptcy may be your next step on your path to your second chance.
Sometimes, if you're in a Chapter 13 and own a home, we can end your Chapter 13 early by refinancing your home while you are still in the Chapter 13. Call us at 800-207-2954, extension 18, to learn more. Most bankruptcy attorneys do not include credit report clean-up as a part of their services. So we designed this page as a tool to allow you to clean-up you credit report for free. You'll have to have the use of a computer and printer and you have to pay some postage. But we'll get to that later. Here are the easy steps: 1.)
Call us today even if you are in the bankruptcy process at 1-800-207-2954,
extension #18, and we'll get a copy of your credit report to see if you can
qualify for a no-down-payment mortgage the day after your bankruptcy is
discharged. If you are in a Chapter 13, we investigate the possibility
of ending your Chapter 13 early by refinancing your home. 2.) You will also need to find a copy of your bankruptcy filing that your attorney filed with the court showing the list of debts that have been included in your bankruptcy. Your attorney has already given you a copy of this and will give you another copy if you have misplaced it. 3.) Send letters to all three credit bureaus demanding your right to have your credit report cleaned-up. The following letter is in Microsoft Word format and can be downloaded to this computer by double clicking on the link below. Adapt this letter to your specific circumstances and save it as a file in a directory on your computer. Then copy and paste one of the three addresses below onto the letter and save the new files on your computer with unique names and print the letter. Repeat with the additional addresses. Address envelopes and mail the letters via U.S. certified mail with return receipt requested. The credit reporting agency has 30 day to send you a return letter and the date on the green return receipt postcard starts the time period. Include a clean copy of your drivers license and a utility bill to confirm that you live at your current address. If you do not include these items, the credit reporting agencies will return your package without making the changes you have demanded. It's a good idea to slightly enlarge your driver's license so the copy is very clear. They're looking for reasons to reject your demands. You have Federal rights. Demand your rights. Make copies of everything you send them.
